Our Story: From Our Family To Yours

Ricardo Valencia & Vienna Valencia Bement,
the brother-and-sister duo and owners of Valencia’s

The Valencia’s have served generations of Houstonians for 40 years. A family legacy that started with original Oak Forest residents from 1952 is now starting a new chapter.

Vienna and Rico Valencia are bringing years of family traditions back to their favorite neighbors. Guests can enjoy the colorful large patio separated by modern garage doors from the main dining area. These garage doors are reminiscent of the family’s early beginnings at the ice house.

Indoor or outdoor, you will enjoy a wonderful dining experience. Family owned and operated, we will offer our guests traditional Tex-Mex favorites, as well as new family favorites, served with our delicious House Made Tortillas. Along with the delicious food will be Classic Margaritas, Local and Favorite Beer, Wine on Tap, Palomas, and more….

Food and Drinks can be served as Dine-In or To Go (Pick up or Delivery).

It is our honor to be able to serve our neighbors, our friends (old and new). We are grateful for the opportunity. We look forward to serving you! As our parents said in the good old days – “Where Good Friends Meet!”

  1. Good evening,

Today was my first time visiting your establishment. I was very happy with the food and the ambiance. My family and I looked at the menu and ordered. We ate our food but then I received my receipt. My daughter pointed at the menu to state which tacos she wanted. When the food arrived since it was our first time we didn’t know it wasn’t the right tacos. The tacos she brought us cost 20.95 but the one on the menu she pointed to for the waitress said 13.99.

I spoke with the manager who was very rude. He said did she eat it you pay for it and pointed his finger at me like I was a child and that my concern didn’t matter. I wasn’t asking him to comp my food all I wanted was for him to understand this was our first time at this establishment and we didn’t know the difference.

He was very rude. I paid the bill and said this is not right and he said this is your last time here. I had the money to pay with no problem but don’t treat me like I couldn’t afford the meal and was trying to get over on him. It was only a 6 to 7 dollar difference.

It is the principal and he could have handled it better. I was not happy at all with th customer service. Teresa was my server. Check #143 Table 102 11/4/2020 8:55 p.m.

    1. Hi Phaedra, Thanks for reaching out to us and sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with the team. Could you please email us (marketing@texmexgarage.com) so we can get something over to you for the trouble? This is not how we wanted your first experience to go with us and we want to make it right. – Valencia’s Team
